When you click a product link on this site and go on to buy something, we may receive a commission from the retailer. This costs you nothing — the price you pay is the same as it would be had you gone to the retailer directly.

What it affects, and what it does not

It affects nothing about the content of a comparison. Our tables list published specifications, which are the same figures regardless of what any product pays. We do not select products by commission rate, we do not rank them, and we do not describe any product as best.

What it does affect is which retailers we link to, since we can only earn from programs we participate in. If a product is available elsewhere at a better price, that is worth checking, and we would rather say so than pretend our links are the only option.

Advertising

This site also carries display advertising, served by third-party ad networks. Advertisements are labelled. Advertisers have no input into content and no advance knowledge of what we publish. We do not control which specific ads appear on a page.

What we will not do

We will not claim to have tested products we have not tested.
We will not publish fabricated reviews, ratings, or testimonials.
We will not accept payment in exchange for coverage or placement.
We will not claim a product treats or prevents any medical condition.
